CESMAR PODIATRY
Podiatry is a branch of medicine whose purpose is the study, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and alterations affecting the foot.
Computerised biomechanical study
The biomechanical study of walking involves a set of tests that enable a foot exam to be performed both in static and dynamic position, in order to determine the way the patient walks and to prevent and discover anomalies.
Walking correctly will determine potential future injuries in other areas of the body, such as the knees, hips or back.
There are two main biomechanical study phases: a first medical analysis in which the patient is examined and a study of the footprint.
Plantar supports
Applying personalised plantar supports made with DAT (direct adaptation technique) material helps correct positions that are often directly responsible for or aggravate lumbar or dorsalgia problems and hip joint or knee pain.
